We wanted a covering over our cement patio w/electricity and we got just that! It matches our house so it is HOA approved and adds value to our outdoor space. Ethan and team were able to find correct answers from our HOA/builder (and find the correct answer when they gave them the wrong information) when specifics were needed (shingle color, paint color, gutters, etc). They kept communication lines open so we knew when the next steps in the project were taking place, and when problems arose with our city, they took care of it. My mom’s house was severely damaged by a large tree that fell on it during a storm. Southland was recommended to me by a contractor friend, and immediately began the process after talking with them. The insurance company was extremely difficult to work with, but Jimmy McElvery and Ethan Marco took over the negotiations with the insurance company and made sure my mom received full payment for everything they owed her. Both Jimmy and Ethan were not only helpful and knowledgeable, but professional in every sense of the word. No stone left unturned. They did everything that they said they would do, and they communicated the entire time. They put my mom’s house back together, and did it right. We made a few additions while they were there, and couldn’t be happier. Southland goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction, while also being incredibly efficient - they completed the whole job in about 2 weeks (roof, new carport, framing, extra electrical work). I’m not sure I’ve ever been more pleased with any company for anything. I am in the process of having them come and do a job for me at my house as well. Southland Roofing and Restoration recently replaced my roof and gutters and did an outstanding job. Not only did they upgrade my shingles to an architectural shingle, they also added a sturdy drip edge, which finished off the look of the whole roof nicely. The roof also came with an exceptional warranty. They also replaced our gutters with a 6 inch black gutter, truly enhancing the overall look of our house. They were extremely careful with our plants, bushes, and outdoor furniture throughout the whole process, especially during the removal of the old roof. They were very thorough with cleaning up our property when finished. Overall, we were extremely pleased with their service and products, all at a very reasonable price.
